KMA Shenandoah, Iowa (signed by Earl May) Dec 14th 1928

Earl May, the founder and president of the Earl E. May Seed and Nursery Company, was a popular radio pioneer and broadcast host who built and owned station KMA, situated in Shenandoah, Iowa.

The letter, addressed to Miss Jennie Mae Ackerman in Toledo, Iowa, concerned a request for photographs taken during the previous year's European tour organised by Earl May. The photographs were to be used for a circular to promote their next tour to Europe.

A high resolution image from the letterhead illustration showing the KMA Mayfair Auditorium and radio station building with one of the two towers used to support the horizontal T multi wire antenna.
